There is much more to improvement than merely “inspecting and adapting.” It is important to understand different methods of improvement (such as Plan-Do-Study-Act, double-loop learning, OODA), learning styles, how people best learn, people’s biases against learning, how to measure your progress, the way complex systems react to change and if there’s a guide you can use to make hypothesis for improvement. Saying “just do it” just doesn’t do it. Here are methods of improvement.
