I am Jim Trott. I have been a senior consultant with Net Objectives since 2006. For 30 years, my primary focus areas have been in Lean and Agile, pattern-based analysis techniques, knowledge management, knowledge engineering. I am a co-author of Design Patterns Explained: A New Perspective on Object-Oriented Design, Lean-Agile Software Development: Achieving Enterprise Agility, and the Lean-Agile Pocket Guide for Scrum Teams. I am passionate about teamwork and retrospection. I also bring my KM and process knowledge to support an international relief and development agency. I have a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies. Before joining Net Objectives, I was an Associate Technical Fellow of a large aerospace company, and a senior engineer in the energy industry, banking and finance, software development, and artificial intelligence.
