Agile is based on values and principles. However, as stated in the Agile Manifesto, it is very team-centric, and leaves management out completely. Beyond a few teams, Business Agility requires a more holistic approach. This is why we use Lean-Thinking as a context for Agile. That is, Lean provides the overall few and fundamentals. Agile can then be implemented in Lean’s context.
